A Real Flying Carpet (we’ve got video to prove it)

When your wingsuit just isn’t exciting enough, the next logical step is, of course, a flying carpet.

So, you’ve got wingsuits, parachutes, and all the usual daredevil accessories. But what if you looked at that setup and said, “Nah, I’m good. Let’s swap that wingsuit for an Oriental carpet.”

Seems like the kind of thing you might suggest after two cups of ambition and a solid night's sleep filled with dreams of Arabian nights, right?

Imagine this: a guy, probably with a penchant for impulsive decisions and a very persuasive group of friends, decides that regular wingsuits just aren’t cutting it anymore.

Why?

Because apparently, the human desire to fly isn’t extreme enough unless you add a Persian rug into the mix. So, this fearless (and possibly carpet salesman-sponsored) daredevil straps himself onto a rug—yes, like the one your grandma has in her living room—and jumps off a cliff.

For a brief, glorious moment, it’s as if gravity had simply clocked out for the day.

The flying carpet swoops and glides, as smoothly as a wingsuit, but with all the flair of a magic carpet auditioning for a stunt role in an action movie.

But this isn’t just any regular flight.

Oh no.

This is a 64 second flight that feels like the love child of a high-budget Disney remake and a home-improvement show.

After over a minute of pure, undiluted carpet-based glory, our hero finally releases his parachute, probably a little disappointed that this wasn’t how he’d be getting around town from now on.

The takeaway here?

Next time you’re eyeing that rug in your living room, don’t just see it as a decorative piece. Think of it as a potential flying device—because clearly, anything is possible.

Although I wouldn’t recommend trying this at home unless you’re already on a first-name basis with your local emergency responders.

Now after you've taken your rug on a wild airborne adventure—or, you know, just spilled coffee on it—you're going to want it looking fresh again. That's where Luv-A-Rug comes in. Whether your carpet’s been through a thrilling flight or just too many movie nights, we know how to bring it back to life.

Trust me, we’ll make it look so good, you might be tempted to give it another ride (though I’d stick to keeping it on the floor this time).

Here's the video of the flying carpet to prove it actually happened...
