This is not our first time with Luv-A-Rug - we had two large 'oriental style' rugs of unknown origin cleaned by them 2 years ago, and were so delighted with the results that we asked Dusty to clean a very expensive Indian rug that we have had for around 50 years. It was much loved by generations of pets and children, and it showed. Dull, dusty and crusty feeling, and a bit whiffy...
When we saw our rug this week - clean and bright, silky to the touch, and smelling fresh, we could not believe it was the same rug! Its SO Beautiful!
The rug was picked up from our home in Nanoose, Dusty called to let us know what was required to clean it, kept us informed during the process, and then had it delivered back to us two weeks later.
I cannot say enough good things about the high level of service, excellent communications, and above all - the wonderful 'new' rug.
I have already told friends and family - don't trust anyone else to clean your good rugs.

My dog had P'd on my area rug bad enough I could smell it when I walked in the house. Luv-A-Rug came out, picked up the rug (including moving some furniture) gave it a great cleaning and brought it back right on time. Being sensitive to smells I really liked that it didn't smell like perfumed cleaners that just cover up smells, it smelled like nothing when I got it back, nothing but clean and white with no yellow spots. They were very professional and I would recommend them to everyone.

This company has excellent service; pick up was quick and so was home delivery.

The rug had pet issues and now it is so clean & fresh.

Recently took 4 synthetic rugs along with 2 wool rugs to Lu-A-Rug.

All were in need of a good clean and required some pet stain remediation. We have taken several of our rugs to Dusty in the past and, once again, they did a great job.

Dusty's service and communications with us were outstanding, we were quite worried about the stain our dog left on a friend's nice wool carpet, and he kept us in the loop every step of the way.

The online livestream on YouTube is great, and we just happened to see it when they were cleaning our rug.

It's a fascinating process and we felt very reassured that the carpet was getting the best care available. The best part - the stain and contamination are completely gone!

Oh my goodness! It’s like having new rugs again.

We have two dogs, One which has gone through the puppy phase and the other which is going through a geriatric phase. Needless to say the carpets had become quite stained, smelly and dingy, even from dirty paws.

Dusty and his crew got our carpets (both wool and silk thread) bright , fresh and new again!

Perfect timing for Christmas to be able to sit on the rugs and open presents!!

We had 6 rugs done due to some dog digestive troubles with very prompt and personalized service.
Outcome was very good.

Rug was beautifully cleaned and repaired (they took the fringe off and bound the ends. Cat is not happy).

AND they do horse blankets and sheepskin rugs! And even more as they have an upholstery service as well!

Our small area endured years of traffic, pets and spills.

We were close to disposing of the rug as we didn't think much could be done to save it.

After a telephone consultation, and the price being reasonable, we decided to give cleaning a try. That was a good decision, as Luv-a-Rug brought life back into our rug.

I had the faded and tattered remains of my grandparents’ living room rug, a memento I feared had reached the point of no return.

When I brought it to Luv-A-Rug for appraisal, I was impressed by the staff: personable, deeply knowledgeable (the provenance of my rug was accurately described on sight, along with comments on the specific looms that wove it), deeply interested in the rug for its own sake (this business is a labour of love and personal fascination) and deeply committed to customer satisfaction.

Also frank and upfront about the necessary costs involved when a large rug is given hand-washing and hand-stitching.

I wasn’t fed any fantasies about what miracles might be achieved, but I was given a clear, obviously informed estimate on what could and could not be done, along with step-by-step descriptions of how the rug would be treated – along with excellent tips on how to prolong its life in the future.

The results were striking. Vivid colours had resurfaced, and the stitching was precise and elegant, looking more like a set-piece of old-fashioned craftsmanship than a repair.

All very much to my aesthetic, domestic and emotional satisfaction.

We had and very large older Indian wool carpet given to us by my husband's mother and stepfather.

We rolled it out in our dining room and discovered the carpet had a number of old stains. A pet's minor foot injury added some blood stains.

I have a cream coloured Indian rug that hadn't been cleaned in years. There was accumulated stains from foot traffic and recent pet stains. I was really pleased with my experience and the results with my recent rug and horse blanket service from Luv-A-Rug. I had a lovely hand made rug that I had purchased in Morocco many years ago. It was not only grubby from use and pets; but it was stained from a pet that became ill. It now looks beautiful again and they took great care of it. I was also really pleased with the results of the cleaning and water proofing of the three horse blanket I took in at the same time. I chose this company on the recommendation of some horse friends and I would not hesitate to recommend them based on my experience.

We had two Oriental carpets that needed cleaning. One was just old and dirty and the other well, old and dirty but also stained with recent dog pee!

Luv a rug turned them both into "like new" and offered incredible service right before Christmas at a very affordable price.

Fantastic and friendly service. Met Dusty on his day off and he took delivery of our 2 carpets and also took time to explain their cleaning process.

Our 10-year-old Ushak was stained badly with red wine over a large area and Dusty was uncertain if the stains would come out.

The carpet now looks like new - colors are brilliant and no sign of wine stains anywhere.

The second carpet was unraveling on the sides and his repair work has made it better and stronger than new.

Will not take our carpets anywhere else for cleaning.

Took 8 x 9 area rug into the business. They unloaded it for me. It was soiled from a few years of use, but not super dirty.

They loaded it into my vehicle when I went to pick it up about 2 weeks later. At home I noticed a stain covering roughly one foot of the edging in one corner, so I phoned. "Dusty" picked up the rug from my home, very apologetic, and returned it 3 days later. Showed me the underside from where the stain had run, but still apologizing for not noticing it before. The rug looks great. Thanks "Dusty", and if we need other rugs cleaned we will be back.

I have a white polyester, medium nap, area rug in my living room.

Over a couple of years I noticed it was getting dirty and my dog was, unbeknownst to me, using it as her personal toilet when she didn't feel like going outside.

I took the rug to Luv-A-Rug after a friend told me about them and the rug came out like new and because Dusty had put a repellent on it, my dog did not abuse it anymore....

However - I got a new dog that did it too and again, Luv-A-Rug cleaned it perfectly once more. I also brought my daughter's rug in for Dusty to look at, he advised me that to clean that rug was going to cost more than it was worth and I much appreciated his honesty.

I would definitely recommend Luv-A-Rug to anyone who needs to clean their rugs, especially ones with pet stains. He was also generous with advice on how to prevent pet accidents from happening again as well as complimentary pet stain remover (with donation to SPCA).

We took 2 rugs in that were pretty dirty and needed scotch guarding as well. They looked great when we picked them up and were treated very well by the guys at Luv-A-Rug.

We will be taking one of the area rugs back for re-cleaning as about 2 days after we got the rugs home we got a puppy and I'm afraid we have a whole bunch of new stains to contend with!

We will wait until the puppy is fully house trained before we attempt another clean!

We have used Luv-a-Rug twice now-the first after we inherited some Persian rugs that were moth infested, and more recently for cleaning after finally getting our puppy house-broken.....need I say more?
