Every year, the Better Business Bureau recognizes businesses on Vancouver Island that have gone above and beyond their ethical practices and service excellence. This year, the organization recognized 15 businesses, including Luv-A-Rug Services Inc.
The Chamber congratulates the winners! And make sure to send in your nominations for the 2024 Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce Business Awards!

Big news from the Luv-A-Rug corner of the world – The Victoria Chamber of Commerce Recognized we won the 2023 BBB Torch Award!
That's right, we've been officially been published by the Victoria Chamber of Commerce not just for our rug-cleaning wizardry but also for being upstanding citizens of the community. It's like being voted "Most Likely to Succeed" at a high school reunion, except with less awkward dancing.
The Better Business Bureau (BBB) each year scopes out businesses on Vancouver Island that are as are as trustworthy as a grandma guarding a family secret recipe.
And this year, out of all the businesses, they picked us and 14 others. Maybe it's our charm, or maybe it's our knack for making rugs look like they've just had a day at the spa.
But here's the kicker – we don't just clean rugs. We've been out there helping schools, supporting the BC SPCA, the BC Horse Council, and even lending a hand to Syrian and Ukranian refugees.
We're like the Swiss Army knife of the community – useful in more ways than one.
The BBB is already rallying everyone for next year's awards. It's like the Oscars, but for businesses, and thankfully, with fewer speeches.
So, if you know a business that's doing wonders – like turning water into coffee – (or dirty rugs into ones that are showroom perfect) make sure you nominate them (i.e. Luv-A-Rug) for the Greater Victoria BBB Torch Award in 2024.
A huge thanks to everyone who's supported our journe and to the Chamber of Commerce for letting everyone know about what we love to do
From rescuing rugs from the clutches of dirt to supporting our community, we promise to keep being the rug-cleaning, community-loving heroes you know us to be.
And who knows, maybe next year we'll win an award for Best Supporting Actor in a Community Drama. Stay tuned!
