    • We could not believe it was the same rug!

    This is not our first time with Luv-A-Rug - we had two large 'oriental style' rugs of unknown origin cleaned by them 2 years ago, and were so delighted with the results that we asked Dusty to clean a very expensive Indian rug that we have had for around 50 years. It was much loved by generations of pets and children, and it showed. Dull, dusty and crusty feeling, and a bit whiffy...
    When we saw our rug this week - clean and bright, silky to the touch, and smelling fresh, we could not believe it was the same rug! Its SO Beautiful!
    The rug was picked up from our home in Nanoose, Dusty called to let us know what was required to clean it, kept us informed during the process, and then had it delivered back to us two weeks later.
    I cannot say enough good things about the high level of service, excellent communications, and above all - the wonderful 'new' rug.
    I have already told friends and family - don't trust anyone else to clean your good rugs.

    Brentwood Bay is a small neighborhood in the municipality of Central Saanich. It lies north of the city of Victoria on the southern tip of Vancouver Island.

    Situated on the Saanich Inlet, it includes the Butchart Gardens, the Victoria Butterfly Gardens, the Brentwood Bay Lodge & Spa and also includes a BC Ferries dock which connects to Mill bay.

    The ferry is a convenient 25-minute ride over the Saanich Inlet for those people travelling to or from the Swartz Bay terminal and places north of Victoria and totally bypasses the need to drive through Victoria and over the Malahat.

    What was once a major limestone quarry is now a massive 20-hectare estate called Burchart Gardens that has over one million visitors each year. Butchart incredible floral displays and spectacular views captivates visitors as they stroll along meandering paths and expansive lawns. From the manicured Sunken Garden to the charming Rose Garden, this show garden still maintains the gracious traditions that have spanned almost 100 years. 

    The area also boasts various wineries and restaurants, and also features hiking and a variety of wildlife in Gowlland Tod Provincial Park.

    Brentwood Bay is one of 13 areas that make up the Greater Victoria area. 

    Fun Fact: Originally named Sluggett after an early settler, it was renamed Brentwood Bay for the town of Brentwood, Essex.
