Area rug cleaning Central Vancouver Island reviews by Luv-A-Rug customers
The rugs look amazing, all look brand new
I had 2 area rugs and 1 hall runner, all could use the cleaning, once especially because of our cat, but we also just went through a Kitchen renovation, dust everywhere.
I had seen Luv-A-Rug ads but have never spoken to anyone who had used them.
The rugs look amazing, all look brand new, especially the one that had the cat problem.
I have already told some friends about my experience, and will tell more.
Easy drop off, and easy pick up. Thank you very much for your great service.
Our basement carpet hadn’t been cleaned in a while
Our basement carpet hadn’t been cleaned in a while and showed dirt in the main tracked areas.
We saw an ad by Luv A Rug about a waterless method of cleaning a carpet. We contacted Luv A Rug and spoke with Dusty who explained the process. What we liked is that this is a do it yourself procedure and there is no waiting for someone to show up, so that we could do this on our own when convenient.
We dropped by Luv A Rug as arranged, picked up the cleaner and applicator and proceeded to clean the carpet.
The results were great and we now have a clean carpet once again. The cost was very reasonable.
We would recommend this method of cleaning your carpet unreservedly and won’t hesitate to repeat the process.
Two Persian area rugs with pet accidents
I have hired other rug cleaners in Victoria and found them to be adequate but expensive.
I tried Luv-A-Rug for my two Persian area rugs which were long overdue for cleaning from pet accidents. I could not be more pleased with the results.
Beautiful, back to new, odour and stain free at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend this business and Dusty is cheerful, friendly and accommodating.
Colours look amazing!
Dusty came and picked up my two Persian rugs..one large from the dining room..and one from the study.
I had read about “Luv a Rug” in the Oak Bay paper..and moth damage. Dusty explained to me about the moths..also their cleaning process. The rugs were returned, cleaned and treated...colours look amazing..very efficiently replaced. Excellent service..so appreciated...For certain would recommend them to my friends and colleagues.
The results were striking
I had the faded and tattered remains of my grandparents’ living room rug, a memento I feared had reached the point of no return.
When I brought it to Luv-A-Rug for appraisal, I was impressed by the staff: personable, deeply knowledgeable (the provenance of my rug was accurately described on sight, along with comments on the specific looms that wove it), deeply interested in the rug for its own sake (this business is a labour of love and personal fascination) and deeply committed to customer satisfaction.
Also frank and upfront about the necessary costs involved when a large rug is given hand-washing and hand-stitching.
I wasn’t fed any fantasies about what miracles might be achieved, but I was given a clear, obviously informed estimate on what could and could not be done, along with step-by-step descriptions of how the rug would be treated – along with excellent tips on how to prolong its life in the future.
The results were striking. Vivid colours had resurfaced, and the stitching was precise and elegant, looking more like a set-piece of old-fashioned craftsmanship than a repair.
All very much to my aesthetic, domestic and emotional satisfaction.
Luv-A-Rug stood by their work, and it was work worth standing by.
Plus, the staff’s personal interest in what they do brings special qualities to the overall experience that a “mere business” cannot provide.
