My Dog Was, Unbeknownst To Me, Using My Rug As Her Personal Toilet

I have a white polyester, medium nap, area rug in my living room.

Over a couple of years I noticed it was getting dirty and my dog was, unbeknownst to me, using it as her personal toilet when she didn't feel like going outside.

I took the rug to Luv-A-Rug after a friend told me about them and the rug came out like new and because Dusty had put a repellent on it, my dog did not abuse it anymore....

However - I got a new dog that did it too and again, Luv-A-Rug cleaned it perfectly once more. I also brought my daughter's rug in for Dusty to look at, he advised me that to clean that rug was going to cost more than it was worth and I much appreciated his honesty.

I would definitely recommend Luv-A-Rug to anyone who needs to clean their rugs, especially ones with pet stains. He was also generous with advice on how to prevent pet accidents from happening again as well as complimentary pet stain remover (with donation to SPCA).

In July 1905, North Saanich, then including the townsite of Sidney, was incorporated with the original Municipal Hall located in Sidney.

Lacking population and a firm tax base, the municipality was dissolved in 1911. In 1940, the site of the present Victoria International Airport was selected as a military forces base and the area boomed with the influx of 10,000 military personnel, leading to incorporation for the Village of Sidney in 1952. Four years later, the residents of the North Saanich unorganized area, numbering 2,865, requested that letters patent be issued to form the "North Saanich Fire Prevention District" with power to own property, to tax and to borrow.

In 1965, after a favourable public vote, the letters patent were withdrawn and the North Saanich Municipal District was established with offices at the present location on Mills Road.

Fun Fact: Said to be the finest rural-residential area in all of Canada, North Saanich boasts a long coastline on three sides, enveloping agricultural farmlands, cosy bays and generous protected parklands.
