A note of praise for Luv-a-Rug.

We had used their service a few years ago for some auto carpets and small rugs, with complete satisfaction with quality and price.

During a recent house renovation we decided to have a very large oriental wool rug cleaned, the old-style fringe removed, and a new underlay cut to fit.

Luv-a-Rug did an absolutely outstanding job in every way: prompt pickup (no charge for pickup or delivery), accurate cost estimate, the contracted work done quickly, continued storage of the rug and underlay for an extra 3 weeks while waiting on the renovations to be completed, delivery the day after being contacted, underlay and carpet accurately positioned in the room, and heavy furniture lifted back into place on the rug.

We are completely satisfied with all aspects of Luv-a-Rug services and would highly recommend the company.

In the meantime, we’re already planning to have the company next clean and repair a 80+ year old oriental rug.

When searching for the very reliable LUG-A-RUG to clean my rugs after some years - The LUV-A-RUG name kept popping up.

So I Called - are you the same people? YES !!

Good stuff. Dusty and crew, took away three major middle eastern large rugs. Gone for three weeks during the summer - we actually enjoyed the bare wood floors during the hot spell.

We are thrilled with the deep cleaning and new colours revealed, and restoration work on edges that were slightly worn.

Cleaning takes some time to be done correctly - do it.

Dusty is a friendly, courteous individual who was very accommodating and helpful.

Dusty cleans classroom used carpets owed by teachers for free as he recognizes how many teachers buy items from their own money to support their students.

It is a wonderful, very generous gesture that is greatly appreciated. It is great to see ethical, community centered businesses in Victoria. Thank you Dusty!

Brought in a large light coloured area rug from our dining area that hadn't been cleaned since we bought it, several years ago.

Didn't have high expectations as there was some discolouration as well.

Rug was restored to its 'as new' state including original thickness, which we had forgotten about.

All in all, a very positive experience.

I have been taking rugs to Dusty for years now and always had a educational and fun experience.

So I decided to take a small Bukhara rug in for opinion as to its worthiness to clean. I purchased it for small price at a garage sale at least 25-30 years ago and my brother who just passed away, had it for the last 17 years.

Needless to say, it is now a vibrant and newly bordered rug sitting in front of our hearth and in a place of prominence.

Thanks to Dusty, his advice and experience paid off and this little rug will love on for many decades.
